  1. *** Installing Landscape Explorer ***

  3. This disk contains Landscape Explorer v3.0.  To install the program insert
  4. the disk in the a: drive, and run the 'install.exe' program from the Windows
  5. File Manager.  The program will prompt for a directory into which Landscape
  6. Explorer will be installed, and create a new program group 'Landscape
  7. Explorer' in the program manager.

  9. This is the unregistered version of the program as of 1 January 1995.

  14. Landscape Explorer needs at least the following hardware to work properly:

  16. - IBM AT or higher, 4 MB RAM required, 8 MB is ideal.
  17.  
  18. - Windows 3.1 (it should work under Windows 3.0, but this is unsupported).
  19.   We have also tested successfully under Windows NT, which indicates that
  20.   there will be no problems with Windows95.
  21.  
  22. - Colour Graphics resolution of at least 640x400 pixels, 16 colors (VGA
  23.   or better).
  24.  
  25. - 3 MB free on the harddisk
